Less Different Than The Same All babies bring changes to the families who welcome them. Some more so than others. Trevor Mason and Amelia Carlucci are two such children. The second novel in the Carlucci Family series Less Different Than The Same is very dear to my heart. I have many friends with special needs and I love them all. To find a way to tell a story that includes them was such a gift. This book takes a close look at how we as a society tend to look at people who aren’t quite what we expect them to be. Two of the main characters, pictured on the cover, are as different on paper, as they possibly can be and yet, they aren’t so different after all. I am very thankful to my friend Brianna and my son Paul for letting me use their precious faces for my cover and to my sweet husbandOtto for designing it.
